DALLENGER - Musician, Vocalist & Producer

Born in Bermondsey, South London, Dallenger was raised just outside Stevenage, in leafy Hertfordshire.

Dallenger set out on his music career at the tender age of eleven, often skipping school in order to tour the UK as the lead guitarist with the Coalhouse Walker Blues Band. During his teens, he appeared at major blues festivals and prestigious national venues alongside The Blockheads, Wilko Johnson, and Nine Below Zero. Some of his earliest influences include Mick Taylor, Rory Gallagher and in particular Johnny Winter; whose version of Chuck Berry’s ‘Johnny B Goode’ was the inspiration behind initially learning to play guitar.

In his late teens some of Dallenger’s songs were discovered on myspace by a west end entertainment solicitor which ultimately led to industry interest. He was taken under the wing of Hugo Turquet, A&R Director at BMG Chrysalis, for a few years whilst he worked further on his writing skills.

Dallenger has taken time to craft his own sound; a contemporary take on classic rock 'n' roll - brimming with catchy hooks and tasty licks, all served up with a certain youthful enthusiasm which shouldn’t be underestimated.

Over the last 18 months he has written and produced his debut album, "Forget About Tomorrow" at The Roost Studios, Norfolk, which is due to be released in the spring of 2017, working closely with Cenzo Townshend (Kaiser Chiefs, U2, Snow Patrol, Florence + the Machine, George Ezra, Ben Howard, Jake Bugg, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, The Maccabees, Jamie Cullum and Thirty Seconds to Mars), who has mixed the album. Cenzo was awarded mix engineer of the year 2009 & 2010 and has been nominated in both 2016 and 2017. The album has been mastered by Stuart Hawkes (Amy Winehouse, Ed Sheeran, Chase & Status) and Mazen Murad (Muse, Earth Wind and Fire) at Metropolis Studios.
